The Balsaje is a tour of the gentle “La Vieja” (“Old Lady”) River by raft, constructed of locally harvested logs of lashed balsa. Before and during this peaceful floating adventure you will be introduced to the various fauna and flora of this particularly fertile region. In addition to hearing the sounds and smelling the rich scents of nature, you will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch wrapped in verdent banana leaves and served with fresh squeezed fruit juices.
